The Knoo: MVP from Concept to Deployed on Vercel

Quinn Breaux took The Knoo from founder concept to a deployed product on Vercel through the Black Panther Accelerator. The founder owns the infrastructure outright.

THE KNOO · TALENT MEETS OPPORTUNITY

Entertainers lose bookings to scattered messages and missed logistics. The Knoo puts booking, scheduling, and show logistics in one place, so talent meets opportunity and the date gets confirmed.

The Situation

Quinn Breaux had a clear product vision: a platform that solves the coordination problem for entertainers and the people who book them. The industry runs on DMs, email threads, and text chains. Bookings fall through not because there is no demand but because the logistics are scattered and nothing closes the loop.

Quinn came to the Black Panther Accelerator as a founder with the concept and the drive to execute. The gap was the technical infrastructure to take the product from idea to something a user could open.

What Was Built

The Knoo is a web product deployed on Vercel. No iOS or Android app has shipped as of November 2026.

The build: Larry wrote the deployment configuration and repository setup and documented the process step by step. Quinn executed every step in his own accounts — Vercel, the domain registrar, source control. The founder owns the infrastructure outright. There is no vendor dependency on AIS for the deployment to stay live.

What this proves: A founder who owns their infrastructure can iterate. A founder who depends on a developer to deploy can only wait. The Knoo demonstrates the Black Panther Accelerator process: a working, deployed product the client controls end to end.

What Made This Work

The most important outcome for a first-time technical founder is not the product itself — it is the knowledge that they can deploy, update, and maintain it without calling a developer. Writing the instructions so Quinn could execute them in his own accounts, rather than running the deployment on Larry's behalf, made that outcome possible.

The accelerator's monorepo process also means the deployment pattern Quinn learned applies to every subsequent project. Infrastructure ownership is a skill that compounds.
